Karu chair

Haimi 1950s

The Karu chair is a contemporary update of a classic design first produced in Finland by the Haimi Oy company in the early 1950s.

With its gently curved arms and understated winged back, the Karu Chair embodies the essence of post-war Nordic design. Its balanced proportions make it ideal for both bedroom and living spaces. It is available in a selection of sumptuous fabrics, including Pierre Frey’s Teddy long-pile mohair velvet and Sahco Zero boucle.
