A chair crafted to engage both the eye and the hand.
Joining the beloved DC09, the DC11 chair designed by Japanese–Danish duo Inoda+Sveje brings a harmonious balance of form, texture, and purpose.
Unlike their earlier designs known for seamless joinery, the DC11 features visible connections inspired by human joints, creating an organic form that sits naturally in any setting.
The silhouette offers a subtle nod to more traditional eastern forms, while the contrast between the generous armrests and backrest and the slender legs gives the chair a distinctive character.
The unique braiding technique of the paper cord was developed through repeated trial and error to match the chair’s sculptural design.

Kyoko Inoda & Nils Sveje"The DC11 Chair embodies the spirit of Scandinavian modern furniture, drawing inspiration from nature's organic forms to create a design language that speaks to our innate sense of beauty and harmony.”
The craftsmanship, a hallmark of Miyazaki Chair Factory, elevates DC11 chair to a work of art where nature is not seen as an anonymous supplier, but as an essential partner in the design process. Wood and leather are used in their purest form, with natural imperfections embraced rather than being concealed.
