Carina Seth Andersson is a Swedish designer known for her distinctive yet purposeful glass and ceramic work. Her design process is about scaling back, finding the balance between simplicity and meaningful form to result in pieces that have a timeless quality. Originally graduating with an MFA from Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Carina continues to be involved in education as a senior lecturer of Beckmans School of Design in Product Design department, and is frequently invited to teach and give lectures at design universities in Sweden.

 

Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in New York, Washington, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, London, Berlin, Helsinki, Stockholm, Tokyo and Osaka, and her pieces are also part of the permanent collections at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and Designmuseum Danmark in Copenhagen.
