Malmö Porslin selects and produces everyday products with a modern twist for table settings and kitchens.
Now comes the brand’s first collection Pi – designed by Carina Seth Andersson. Pi consists of 11 porcelain pieces and two glass vases, mouth-blown at Skrufs Glasbruk. The simple, clean shape makes it easy to complement what is already in the kitchen cabinet, regardless of colour and shape.
The company’s name is reused from Malmö Porslinsfabrik, once located on Porslinsgatan in Malmö.
Carina Seth Andersson is a Swedish designer known for her distinctive yet purposeful glass and ceramic work. Her design process is about scaling back, finding the balance between simplicity and meaningful form to result in timeless pieces.
