String® System Metal Shoe Shelf

The shoe shelves are available in two widths, 580 and 780 mm, along with one depth, 300 mm.

The shoe shelves fit into wire panels from String® System if the depth of the panels is 300 mm. The shoe shelves will help to keep your hallway and wardrobe tidy. You will fit 2-3 pair of shoes on a 580 mm wide shoe shelf and 4-6 pair of shoes on a 780 mm wide shoe shelf. Each packaging contains one shoe shelf.

Kajsa & Nisse Strinning

Nils “Nisse” Strinning (1917 – 2006) was a Swedish architect and designer whose clean and practical designs have come to form the basis of what is now known as “Scandinavian design”. Nisse Strinning was best known for the String shelving system that he and his wife, the designer Kajsa Strinning, designed in response to a 1949 contest held by Bonnier public library.

The String design has received more than 15 prestigious international awards including a gold medal at the Milan Triennale (1954), The Classic Prize and Excellent Swedish Design (1999), German Design Award (2016), “Furniture Supplier of the Year” and Winner Long Life Design Award (2020) to name a few. String® was also honoured with a stamp by the Swedish Postal Service (2017).
