Vandra Rugs is renowned for their luxurious hand-woven rugs that seamlessly blend timeless design with exceptional craftsmanship. Dedicated to social and environmental responsibility, Vandra Rugs operates with profound respect for both people and the planet.

Woven With Purpose

At their weaving atelier in southern Ukraine, Vandra empowers women by providing meaningful employment and fostering skill development. The brand takes a sustainable approach by crafting made-to-order rugs, minimizing waste, and prioritising high-quality, eco-friendly materials including non-dyed, non-coloured and recycled options.

A core part of the Vandra Rugs mission is to empower women through craftsmanship. Vandra Rugs’ weaving atelier was originally established in southern Ukraine in 2007 and relocated to Kosiv in the Carpathian Mountains due to the Russian invasion. The atelier provides employment for 48 weavers, preserving traditional crafts while fostering independence and resilience among skilled employees.

Currently some 30 weavers are involved in production and the atelier has become one of the regions most important exporters to the West.
