Sula Table Lamp

The Sula lamp designed by Jukka Jokinen is a work of art in itself. Its beautiful form catches the eye, and the soft light creates an atmosphere.

Made of clear glass, Sula is an exciting combination of organic and geometric shapes resulting from an experimental glassblowing process. The lamp is made by mouth blowing into a mould and sanded by hand. “In glass design, it is important to go ahead of the material’s properties. The glass lamp’s production method must be considered from the beginning. The shape is created by testing and boldly experimenting with ideas,” says designer Jukka Jokinen. Sula can serve as both a decorative lamp and a vase.

Jukka is an ambitious designer with a background in construction management. He has always been inspired by his surroundings and paid attention to functionality and aesthetics. His grandfather gave him his first knife when he was just 1 year old, encouraging him to endorse creativity and good craftsmanship in life. His greatest interests lie in product and glass design.
