Møller 77C Stool
Kirsten A. Møller 2016
The first new Møller-designed release since 1981.
Kirsten Ann Møller entered the company in 2016, representing the third generation in the family-run workshop. The counter and bar stool models 77C and 77B were then designed and incorporated into the Møller production. This model is a direct extension of the model 77 chair that her grandfather designed in 1959. This gesture makes a beautiful acknowledgement of the values that the factory holds close and a wonderful sentiment for the start of the new CEO at J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik.

At 27 years old, Kirsten moved to Copenhagen to do a second degree and decided to stay. At this point, it seemed like the right time for her father, Jørgen Møller, to offer her to take over the company as he could not run a business and raise a family in the US for much longer.

Craftsmanship
At the Møller Factory all pieces are hand finished, never by machines. Dedicated craftspeople weave single lengths of paper cord to create durable, classic and beautiful iconic timber and paper cord chairs and benches.
