String® System Wall Panel Galvanised
Kajsa & Nisse Strinning 1949
The galvanized wall panels are available in one height, 500 mm along with two depths, 200 and 300 mm.
The panels are the base when building your string shelf outdoors. Then, you can start adding galvanized shelves from String® System. Add outdoor-proofed accessories such as j-hooks and s-hooks to cover your storage need. The panels are mounted onto a house façade, wooden fence, or other type of wall where it can stay all year round. The wall panels come in two different packaging’s, either with one wall panel or two wall panels.

Kajsa & Nisse Strinning
Nils “Nisse” Strinning (1917 – 2006) was a Swedish architect and designer whose clean and practical designs have come to form the basis of what is now known as “Scandinavian design”. Nisse Strinning was best known for the String shelving system that he and his wife, the designer Kajsa Strinning, designed in response to a 1949 contest held by Bonnier public library.

The String design has received more than 15 prestigious international awards including a gold medal at the Milan Triennale (1954), The Classic Prize and Excellent Swedish Design (1999), German Design Award (2016), “Furniture Supplier of the Year” and Winner Long Life Design Award (2020) to name a few. String® was also honoured with a stamp by the Swedish Postal Service (2017).
