Modern Art Table Lamp
Yki Nummi 1955
The Modern Art table lamp is a timeless classic and the jewel in the crown of Finnish lamp design.
In the spirit of the 1950s, the lamp is highly simplified: the cylinder-shaped clear acrylic frame is combined with a transparent thin white shade that filters light evenly. It gained its reputation when it was chosen for the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1957.
