The smooth lines and curves (said to “mimic nature, like trees bending under heavy snow”) inspire us to slow down, sit, touch and observe this rare dedication to craftsmanship and comfort.
There is much to admire about the DC09 chair designed by Scandinavian–Japanese duo Inoda + Sveje in 2011. World-renowned for their harmonious and sensitive approach to design, Japanese-born Inoda and Danish-born Sveje formed Inoda + Sveje in Copenhagen in 2000.
Available exclusively in Australia with Great Dane, the DC09 is a favourite piece for our clients, designers and design enthusiasts, using fine wood craftsmanship and modern machinery to create a classic chair, delightful for the eye, body and home.

Designer
Inoda + Sveje
Inoda + Sveje is a design duo comprising Kyoko Inoda, born in Osaka in 1971, and Nils Sveje, born in Denmark in 1969. Inoda studied architectural design at ISAD in Milan. Sveje graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture.
