Aage Petersen

Aage Petersen was a Danish sculptor and designer born in 1902. After studying sculpture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, he produced a wide range of works inspired by natural forms. Over the course of his career, Petersen designed numerous floor lamps and lighting pieces known for their inventive structures and distinctive hand-bent lampshades. His luminaires, created for Le Klint, remain celebrated examples of craftsmanship and functional artistry.
