String® Plex Wall Panel

The plex wall panels are available in two heights, 500 and 750 mm, along with two depths, 200 and 300 mm.
The panels are the base when building your string shelf. When the panels are decided you can start adding products from String® System. Choose among different shelves, cabinets, and drawers. The wall panels are mounted onto a wall and do not touch either the floor or ceiling. The panels are made of laser cut clear Perspex, which gives the shelf an extra light appearance. The panels come in two different packaging’s, either with one wall panel or two wall panels.

Nisse Strinning
Born in Sweden in 1917, Strinning studied architecture in Stockholm from 1940-47 before designing the iconic String shelf system that his name is still synonymous with.

The String design has received more than 15 prestigious international awards including a gold medal at the Milan Triennale (1954), The Classic Prize and Excellent Swedish Design (1999), German Design Award (2016), “Furniture Supplier of the Year” and Winner Long Life Design Award (2020) to name a few. String® was also honoured with a stamp by the Swedish Postal Service (2017).
