The magazine shelves in wood are available in two widths, 580 and 780 mm, and fit into 300 mm deep wire panels from String® System.

The magazine shelves create a dynamic shelving combination where you have room to showcase your favourite books and magazines. Choose among different colours and wood types. Brackets are included in the packaging.

Kajsa & Nisse Strinning

Nils “Nisse” Strinning (1917 – 2006) was a Swedish architect and designer whose clean and practical designs have come to form the basis of what is now known as “Scandinavian design”. Nisse Strinning was best known for the String shelving system that he and his wife, the designer Kajsa Strinning, designed in response to a 1949 contest held by Bonnier public library.

The String design has received more than 15 prestigious international awards including a gold medal at the Milan Triennale (1954), The Classic Prize and Excellent Swedish Design (1999), German Design Award (2016), “Furniture Supplier of the Year” and Winner Long Life Design Award (2020) to name a few. String® was also honoured with a stamp by the Swedish Postal Service (2017).
