The filing cabinet is available in one width, 780 mm, one depth, 320 mm, and one height, 770 mm.

The filing cabinet is produced to optimize the free standing shelf from Works™. Combine the filing cabinet with h115 x d300 mm or h2000 x d300 mm floor panels from String® System and you will have the most optimal complement to your workspace where you can keep all your folders, cords, notebooks, and such. The filing cabinet has internal dimensions: w740 x d287 x h725 mm and comes with of two inner shelves you can place at any height.

Kajsa & Nisse Strinning

Nils “Nisse” Strinning (1917 – 2006) was a Swedish architect and designer whose clean and practical designs have come to form the basis of what is now known as “Scandinavian design”. Nisse Strinning was best known for the String shelving system that he and his wife, the designer Kajsa Strinning, designed in response to a 1949 contest held by Bonnier public library.

The String design has received more than 15 prestigious international awards including a gold medal at the Milan Triennale (1954), The Classic Prize and Excellent Swedish Design (1999), German Design Award (2016), “Furniture Supplier of the Year” and Winner Long Life Design Award (2020) to name a few. String® was also honoured with a stamp by the Swedish Postal Service (2017).
