String® System Bowl Shelf Felt

The bowl shelf in felt is available in one width, 780 mm, and one depth, 300 mm.

The bowl shelf fits into all 300 mm deep wire and plex panels from String® System. By adding a bowl shelf in felt to your hallway combination, you instantly add a given spot for keys, gloves, and such. The internal dimensions for each bowl (three in total) are: w200 x d220 x h45 mm. Each packaging contains one bowl shelf in felt and a frame along with brackets. The colours options are beige, light grey and anthracite.

Kajsa & Nisse Strinning

Nils “Nisse” Strinning (1917 – 2006) was a Swedish architect and designer whose clean and practical designs have come to form the basis of what is now known as “Scandinavian design”. Nisse Strinning was best known for the String shelving system that he and his wife, the designer Kajsa Strinning, designed in response to a 1949 contest held by Bonnier public library.



The String design has received more than 15 prestigious international awards including a gold medal at the Milan Triennale (1954), The Classic Prize and Excellent Swedish Design (1999), German Design Award (2016), “Furniture Supplier of the Year” and Winner Long Life Design Award (2020) to name a few. String® was also honoured with a stamp by the Swedish Postal Service (2017).
