String® System Bottle trays

The bottle tray in cork is part of our range of accessories and fits together with 300 mm deep metal shelves from String® System.

The bottle tray is available in one size where the width is 190 mm, depth 300 mm, and height 20 mm. By adding a bottle tray to your kitchen combination, you will always know where to find your wine and oil bottles. A metal shelves with width 580 mm can fit three bottle trays and a metal shelf with width 780 mm can fit four. Each packaging contains two bottle trays in cork where each of the trays have room for two bottles.

Kajsa & Nisse Strinning

Nils “Nisse” Strinning (1917 – 2006) was a Swedish architect and designer whose clean and practical designs have come to form the basis of what is now known as “Scandinavian design”. Nisse Strinning was best known for the String shelving system that he and his wife, the designer Kajsa Strinning, designed in response to a 1949 contest held by Bonnier public library.



The String design has received more than 15 prestigious international awards including a gold medal at the Milan Triennale (1954), The Classic Prize and Excellent Swedish Design (1999), German Design Award (2016), “Furniture Supplier of the Year” and Winner Long Life Design Award (2020) to name a few. String® was also honoured with a stamp by the Swedish Postal Service (2017).
