The Fliegenbein Table Lamp brings Julius T. Kalmar’s 1957 floor lamp of the same name to the table.
Like the original, the smaller product features two bent metal tubes merging into a single shaft, with a pleated silken shade suspended near the top of this steel column. Painstakingly finished in light and dark grey or brown matte lacquers, Fliegenbein is a versatile addition to both modern and traditional interiors.
After the turn of the century, Julius Theodor Kalmar, son of the original founder, studied under the renowned Austrian architect and designer Josef Hoffmann at the Vienna School of Applied Arts and at the Birmingham School of Art and Design.
