Matti Klenell is a trained interior architect and furniture designer from Sweden and his work is featured in the collections of several museums
Matti Klenell was born in Gothenburg and now lives and works in Stockholm. He is educated at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. In 2000, he founded Matti Klenell Studio. From 2000 to 2006, Klenell was head of the form program at Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm. His work is featured in the collections of several museums, including the National Museum of Fine Arts in Stockholm. Klenell was the recipient of the prestigious Ljunggren Design Prize in 2003.
