Visir lamps emit traditional oil lamps’ warm, soft glow. Örsjö’s rechargeable LED technology and rechargeable battery mean Visir can be used as a standard table lamp or outside on the balcony or in the garden when it gets dark.

Pierre Sindre

Pierre Sindre is an industrial designer who lives and works in Stockholm and earned his Bachelor’s degree in interior architecture and furniture design from the Konstfack University’s College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm in 2007. Sindre considers detail essential and makes this a starting point when designing a product.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Örsjö is more than a name and a place where lights get made. It is built on simple values and strong beliefs. The factory is located just outside Nybro in Småland, Sweden and is still family-owned. Örsjö produces premium lighting by hand, intending to leave the best possible mark on our planet. They also believe that objects created by hand leave a certain indescribable sense of human touch and warmth—a link between the user and the creator that is often lost in industrial production.
