Arent&Pyke Windows

As part of Great Dane Classics month, we invited Sydney designers Arent&Pyke to re-imagine the Sydney Showroom windows. The result was an elegant interpretation of the Scandinavian aesthetic. Selecting key pieces they deemed absolute classics the Arent&Pyke team set to work interpreting vignettes of luxury. Two scenes were created one featuring Hans Wegner’s J16 Rocking Chair – a mid-century iconic piece, the other featuring the KS Chair by Ox DENMARQ who have themselves played on the scale of Butterfly Chairs with KS. Formakami pendants were clustered above both windows while the antler-like base of the Illum Wikkelso coffee table added dramatic curves. Well known for their layered use of texture and colour, Arent&Pyke completed the windows by adding, Icelandic sheepskins, deep violet orchids and a burnt orange backdrop.
